Occupational Therapy Intern
Natasha Robillard is a bilingual Occupational Therapy student and intern with a decade of prior experience in social justice. She brings a wealth of knowledge from both her professional background and lived experience, with a focus on disability, Indigenous resilience & health, identity loss, and post-traumatic growth.
Her expertise in disability includes navigating the complexities of living with chronic, invisible, and/or episodic conditions, as well as the management of specific conditions such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, fibromyalgia, and Post-concussion Syndrome. She is also deeply engaged in exploring experiences of ableism and their impact on daily life.
Natasha is passionate about building her career in Occupational Therapy with an approach that is trauma-informed, culturally safe, justice-based, and anti-oppressive. She strives to create an empathetic, supportive, and empowering environment for those she works with.
Natasha Robillard is originally from Vancouver [unceded traditional territories of the xÊ·mÉ™θkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations] and currently resides in Tio'tiá:ke, territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka people.
