FAQ – CLINIQUE VIVAGO®
1. Do I need a referral or a diagnosis to access services at CLINIQUE VIVAGO®?
It depends on the service. A medical referral is required to see our psychiatrist, and some insurance plans may require a referral to reimburse certain services. For most of our services, however, no diagnosis is required, as care is based on daily functioning rather than labels.
2. Do you only treat mental health conditions?
No. While we offer mental health care, we do not treat “mental health only.” We support people with their everyday functioning—including routines, energy, emotional regulation, school, work, relationships, and daily life challenges.
3. Do you work with children and families?
Yes. We support children, adolescents, and families, with a strong focus on development, daily functioning, and participation at home, at school, and in the community. We strongly believe in prevention and early intervention, even when no diagnosis is present—this is especially important in pediatric care.
4. How is Vivago’s approach different from traditional care?
Our model is innovative and integrative. We use a custom, adapted stepped-care approach that combines best practices from mental health, rehabilitation, and functional care. This allows us to offer the right level of support, at the right time, based on each person’s needs.
5. Do you offer intensive or structured programs?
Yes. We offer intensive and semi-intensive outpatient programs for children, adolescents, and adults who need more than weekly follow-up. These programs are designed to support real-life change while avoiding unnecessary hospitalization.
